Boys and Girls Club Project
For those of you who are not aware, I had gone to the Boys and Girls Club of Wilmington in July and asked the kids what they loved about living there and how they enjoyed their time. I then took the words a local photographer (Mike Smith – MikeSmithPhoto.com) and he went around Wilmington using the words as inspiration then combined the words and pictures into one beautiful piece…

Sorry everyone…I know my blogging average has gone done since the end of the design part of the contest but I am trying to make up for it by catching you up on what I’ve been doing! And keep checking because I will be putting up a critic of my space in the coming days…and if you haven’t voted…what have you been waiting for??!! VOTE NOW! NC- The Final Week – FINAL DAY: I know…I did my countdown wrong :-/
The final day finally arrived! It has been one of the coolest experiences I have ever had but most good things must come to an end or they aren’t good anymore. So, I happily embrace the closing of this adventure. But now YOU must vote! It may be the end of one journey but I’m ready for the next! I’m ready to take on this crazy world and give all I have to those who need it most. So if you believe in my philosphy and design please help spread the word and get all your friends, family and coworkers online and voting! I’ll still post blogs till Oct giving you even more insight into my decisions and feelings about everything! Thanks for following me in this process…it aint over yet!

You never know how much an act of kindness can change someones day/life. This day I was confronted by an act of kindness far beyond the norm. Without knowing me or what I was doing, Lelah swooped in and saved the day! Thank you Lelah!!!
NC – The Final Week – 3 Days Left: Finishing…or so I thought
I had a wdie range of emotions this day, as you will see. And after reviewing this lastest video I realized I talked waaaay to long about my getting pulled over the night before. My apologies But be sure to watch and see which designer I had lunch with!
